Website sponsorship¶
You can sponsor the Write the Docs community website in two ways:
Sidebar advertising — $250 per month
Footer sponsorship — $500 per year

The best idea of who is visiting our site is the information we have from our conferences. Our audience is made up of:
Roughly 1 in 5 holds a manager-level role, and 79% write or manage documentation. These figures come from the 566 registration survey responses at Write the Docs Portland 2026.
Sidebar advertising¶
This option gives you an ad on the Write the Docs sidebar, and is the best way to actively sell something to our community.

Cost¶
The sidebar sponsorship is $250 per month. It runs for a full calendar month, or 30 days from the date of purchase.
You can pay via our online payment form, or we can issue you an invoice.
Footer sponsorship¶
This sponsorship includes your company logo and a link to your site in the footer of all our community site pages.

If you are a conference sponsor, we will use your existing logo and link from the conference sponsorship.
Cost¶
The footer logo sponsorship costs $500 per year. Sponsorship runs for a calendar year, or 365 days from the date of purchase.
